We have two shops, one in Jalón and one in the next village of Alcalalí. Both are open from 10am to 1pm, Monday to Saturday.
The shops are staffed by volunteers and more are always required – please click here for more details about working in one of our shops. Alternatively, you can contact the Manager at Alcalalí, Trish Murphy, or Jenny Hart at Jalón who will be happy to answer any questions – see below for telephone numbers of the shops.
Both shops sell a wide range of goods, clothing, shoes, jewellery, household linens and items and bric-à-brac. Each shop also has a whole room full of books from just 50 cents. There are toys for children and items for babies, and there are always bargains to be found.
We have a great range of homemade marmalades and chutneys, made by one of our long-serving volunteers, which taste delicious and also make great gifts.
Beautiful handmade greeting cards for all occasions, again made by our volunteers, are on sale at both shops, priced from just 1 euro. And we have a selection of photographic cards for different occasions, printed mainly from photographs submitted to previous Photographic Competitions.
The shops are friendly places where you will always be welcomed whether you are donating goods or browsing… pop along and see!
We are always pleased to receive donations of good quality, clean items of clothing, household goods, bric-à-brac, books, games and audio equipment. Please bring them to either shop during opening hours.
